Andy brings more than 25 years of experience formed in the Royal Air Force and then the Royal Mail where his activities have taken him from his clients’ operations to their boardrooms.  During this time has been heavily involved in the design, tailoring and communication of a variety of complex services to meet client’s needs which range from simple operational change projects through to coordinating complex multi-supplier solutions for major bids.  His qualities as a problem solver have been often needed and he has worked his way through several testing assignments and leading roles in bid management teams.

Simon has a strong background in sales and marketing within the IT industry.  Working first for Fujitsu (then ICL) and then for Unisys where he worked across Europe and was Sales Operations Director for the UKMEI&A region.  Simon is also a business mentor for both the Harwell Campus, Oxford plus The Goldman Sachs 10,000 and is a member of both the Association of Business Mentors and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.  He advises a number of high-tech and early stage businesses on sales, marketing and business strategy.

Before joining Sixfold, John was the Home Office Group Commercial Director, reporting to Chief Operating Officer and HM Government Chief Procurement Officer, engaging and advising Ministers and senior officials including Permanent Secretary.   He was responsible for all procurement and commercial activity across the Group, with third party spend of £2.8bn pa whilst managing a team of 220 staff.

He was formerly Head of Procurement of the Olympic Delivery Authority, where he led procurement delivery, including construction, rail works, various FM and Security services, utilising multiple forms and commercial mechanisms of the NEC3 contract.  John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
